We've really wanted to do something like this for some time now. The moment feels right. There is a strong literary community throughout the area and, with this event, we aim to help showcase all that incredible local talent while providing an opportunity to network with like-minded creatives who appreciate/facilitate the written word.


The Maple Ridge Book Fair will be held indoors at the Jean Sloan Hall, which is part of the Haney Presbyterian Church building (off Lougheed Highway @ 216th in Maple Ridge). The location has ample parking, is wheelchair accessible, and has washrooms on site. A floorplan will be provided to accepted vendors. The event will run from 11am-4pm on Saturday, August 15th, 2026. Depending on the number of applications, preference will be given to vendors that are closer to the Fraser Valley/Lower Mainland region.


(We will also be looking for a food truck and are open to suggestions.)
