Timothy & The Crab

Jaimen Shires

Timothy, a young boy who lives with his father,
is finally old enough to learn about a family secret
that has been passed down for generations.
Deep within the mountains behind their home -
past the blowing cattails in Gully's Creek,
beyond the gnarled branches of the old orchard,
through the towering trunks of the cedar woods,
along the lush and blossoming valley, over a
crumbling shale ridge to the other side of a green,
green forest - lies a hidden lake.

And within that lake, lives a giant purple crab.
